Meet Our Leadership Team
Victor Olewunne (Founder/President) is a distinguished ethicist, accomplished marketing communications practitioner, prolific author and trainer. Driven by the desire to impact global leadership and social responsibility with Afrocentric ethical principles, he initiated this foundation as a vehicle for impact. He is also the Chief Consultant at Protarget Communications Limited, a marketing communication firm with over two decades of success that brought into focus the need for ethical reorientation in leadership.
He brings together on the advisory board some of the best minds in moral philosophy and ethical leadership. Victor Olewunne’s academic background includes a BA in English Language and Literature, a Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising, nine certifications in Entrepreneurship Studies and a Master’s degree in Professional Ethics. These underscore his diverse expertise and dedication to continuous professional development. He has authored several books, including “Ethics: That Guarantees and Accelerates Your Success,” a definitive guide on ethical practices that drive personal and professional achievement. His work reflects his deep commitment to fostering ethical leadership and integrity across various sectors, making him a sought-after consultant and speaker in the field of ethics and marketing communications.
Professor Chiedozie Benjamin Okoro (Chairman of the Board) is a distinguished scholar in the field of philosophy, currently serving as the Dean of the Philosophy Department at the University of Lagos, where he is also a full professor. He achieved this esteemed position in 2016, following the completion of his Ph.D. at the same institution in 2002. A renowned ethicist, Professor Chiedozie Benjamin Okoro is highly regarded for his contributions to the study of integrative metaphysics and the phenomenology of life-force.
His academic journey includes significant administrative roles, such as Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Arts from 2011 to 2013, and he currently presides as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Faculty of Arts Alumni Association (FAAA). His professional affiliations are extensive and prestigious, reflecting his standing in the philosophical community. He is an active member of the Philosophical Association of Nigeria (PAN), the Nigeria Academy of Letters, the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP) and Fellow, Institute of Security and Strategic Studies. These memberships underscore his commitment to advancing philosophical discourse both locally and internationally.
Professor F.N.Ndubuisi PhD,L.LM,BL is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy, University of Lagos. He is also an advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is an author,Columnist and commentator on National and International Affairs.
He was the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of University of Christopher University Mowe, Ogun State. He has published widely both in National and international Journals. His area of specialization and interests include Ethics, Existentialism, Philosophy of Science, Jurisprudence and Human Rights.
Henrietta Tobechukwu Unomah is a seasoned professional with expertise in business management, information security, project management, and healthcare administration. She holds multiple qualifications, including a BSc in Agricultural Economics, an MSc in Computer Security and Audit, an MBA, and various certifications in business strategy, project management, and data management.
With extensive experience in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), she has held key roles such as Senior Project and Data Officer, Patient Pathway Partner, and End-of-Life Officer. Her leadership in data-driven decision-making and service improvement makes her a valuable addition to the foundation’s Advisory Board.
Henrietta is committed to promoting ethical leadership and social responsibility, leveraging her expertise to support the foundation’s mission of driving integrity and good governance across Africa.
Chika Umeh is a seasoned marketing communications, research, and business development consultant with a strong commitment to ethical, innovative, and strategic solutions for management and marketing challenges. With an academic background in English Language, Marketing Research, Planning Studies, Advertising, and Marketing Management, he has developed a well-rounded expertise that allows him to navigate complex business environments with insight and precision.
Over the years, Chika has worked extensively with leading marketing services agencies and renowned organizations across Nigeria and beyond. His experience has honed his ability to drive business growth, develop impactful marketing strategies, and provide research-driven solutions tailored to diverse industries. His work reflects a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and the evolving corporate communications landscape.
Beyond his professional achievements, Chika is a passionate advocate for good governance and ethical leadership. He is dedicated to promoting integrity, accountability, and socially responsible business practices, making him a valuable asset to the Afrocentric Ethics for Leadership and Social Responsibility Foundation. Through his role on the advisory board, he continues to champion ethical values and contribute to the foundation’s mission of fostering leadership rooted in African ethical principles.
Dr Peter Osimiri is a Philosopher cum political theorist who is passionate about applying abstract philosophical ideas to practical human problems. He holds a doctorate from the University of Ibadan (Nigeria) as well as a certificate in Applied Ethics from the central European University (Hungary).
With a broad background in Philosophy/Politics and an abiding interest in issues of justice and human development his research equally covers a wide range of areas including ethics, political philosophy, bioethics and environmental philosophy.
Dr. Osimiri’s work in the last five years exhibit a strong emancipatory motif, systematically converging around two major themes: a sustained critique of the unequal and unjust relations between the global North and global South and a continuous reflection on the preconditions for harmonious coexistence in deeply divided societies.
On a regular basis, he present papers at academic conferences around the world and has published extensively in national and international journals.
Dr. Osimiri is currently working with the Distinguished Prof. Jim I. Unah and a network of scholars across Nigerian universities to develop the curriculum and content for ethics and character training in pre-tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Goodluck Ojiugo Diala is a dedicated civil servant with over twenty-three years of experience in banking, education and youth development, specializing in skills training, empowerment, and policy implementation. Currently serving as a Youth Officer in the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, she has played a key role in fostering leadership, capacity building, and community engagement among young people in Nigeria.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. From 2002 to 2008, she worked as a banker before transitioning into teaching from 2009 to 2018. Her background in finance, education, and management provides a strong foundation for her role in youth development. A Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and a certified Basic Digital Literacy Master Trainer, she is skilled in policy development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.
Goodluck’s expertise in leadership, capacity building, and ethical governance aligns with the mission of the Afrocentric Ethics for Leadership and Social Responsibility Foundation. Through her work, she continues to inspire and empower young Africans to embrace integrity, accountability, and transformative leadership in their communities.
